People with a genetic disorder clamor to have Omahan 
paint their portraits

Rachel Mindrup paints a portrait on May 9, at her home in Omaha. Mindrup paints portraits of people with Neurofibromatosis. Mindrup’s son Henry was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis as an infant as has been one of the motivations behind her portrait series.

Omaha artist to display work at Northwestern

Portraits by Omaha artist Rachel Mindrup will be on display in Northwestern College’s Te Paske Gallery Feb. 3–21. A public reception is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m.
